Not Just Photos. Not Just Video. Real Memories.
I’ve always had a camera — or at least a phone — with me, capturing memories and good times with friends. Even back in high school, I had a gut feeling that photography was something more than just a hobby for me. I didn’t know exactly how I’d make it into a career, but I knew I had to figure it out.
When I started college at Oklahoma State, that dream finally started to take shape. As a freshman, I joined the O’Colly student newspaper — just beginning my photography journey. I was incredibly grateful for the advice, direction, and encouragement I received from others. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic cut my freshman year short, I was thankful for the foundation it gave me.
During quarantine I took the opportunity to invest in my first camera and watched countless YouTube videos, learning how to shoot and edit. Once I was able to get back to stillwater after quarantine I was able to put my skills into practice.
It wasn’t always easy, but persistence opened doors. I continued shooting sports and campus events for the O’Colly, eventually earning a role as a creative intern with Oklahoma State Athletics during my senior year. That experience allowed me to work alongside some incredible athletes, teams, and coaches.
After graduating in May 2023, I accepted a photography position at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. There, I was fortunate to work with a passionate creative team dedicated to telling the story of a athletics program in a powerful way.
Recently, I moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to family and friends while freelancing full-time. It’s been a meaningful season of personal and creative growth.
I’m currently seeking my next opportunity with a team, university, or agency—and I can’t wait to see where this creative journey takes me next.
